Modern Techniques of Investigation and Intelligence Gathering Workshop held online

Like so many other events in 2020, the Modern Techniques of Investigation and Intelligence Gathering Workshop could not go ahead in its typical format this year. The previous two workshops have been held at the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT) in Nagpur, India. However, with participants not being able to travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, NADT hosted an online version of the workshop.

Over 100 participants from CATA member countries registered for the event that took place from the 19th to 23rd October 2020. Nine topics on investigation and intelligence gathering techniques were covered during the webinar with presentations given by experts from India and also from the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT) and Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.
