CATA becomes a partner to the Asia Initiative

CATA was recently notified that its application to become a partner to the Asia Initiative was approved by its members. The Asia Initiative aims to give a regional voice to its members and help them advance the transparency agenda.

Due to CATA having many members located in Asia, multiple established working relationships with Asian organisations (Asian Development Bank, OECD Korea Tax Policy Centre and Study Group on Asian Tax  Administration and Research), and observer  status in the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes, it is anticipated that a partnership between CATA and the Asia Initiative would be valuable for both organisations.
