Members of the Management Committee gathered together at The Commonwealth Secretariat, Marlborough House to attend the 94th CATA Management Committee Meeting on 24 April 2024.

The meeting was chaired by Dr Abu Tariq Jamaluddin who is the new CEO of Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia, appointed on 17 December 2023 succeeding Dr Mohd Nizom Sairi. The Chairman in his preliminary remarks, welcomed members to the meeting and congratulated the new Executive Director Dr Esther Koisin for taking up the role in CATA. The Chairman appreciates the turnout of the Committee members. This  reflects the collective commitment and unwavering support by members of the committee towards greater collaboration within CATA.

The President Dr Zacch Adedeji in his opening remarks, congratulated Dr Abu Tariq Jamaluddin on his new role as Chairman of CATA. He highlighted the importance of working together in facing the new challenges in tax administration especially in dealing with the development in digitalisation of economy.
