The current programme has 29 delegates from 11 countries including Ghana, India, Kenya, Malawi, Malaysia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Phase One

·        This phase took place in September 2022, hosted by the National Academy for Direct Taxes in Nagpur, India. The Senior Leadership Programme team and CATA Secretariat are grateful for the hosting of the programme in such a wonderful setting and the work of the team at the NADT to ensure the programme ran successfully.

·        In Phase 1, delegates explored topics from themes focused on leading self and others. Each day was based around an exploratory question for delegates to consider:

o   How and why do I lead?

o   Who do I need to become?

o   What drives my teams?

o   How they maximise performance

o   How to scale from their team to their organisation

o   How to take advantage of change

·        We also collaborated with ATAF to hold a day focused on Tax and Gender and Women in leadership in tax administrations.

·        Feedback from the delegates was positive. Over the course of the phase, delegates expressed that the course had exceeded their expectations so far.

Phase 2 is currently being conducted virtually on the internet.

Phase 3 will take place in the UK from 6 to 17 March 2023.
