On the occasion of its 15th Anniversary, the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) released a commemorative magazine. The launching ceremony took place on 26th January 2022 and coincided not only with the celebration of the International Customs Day but also with the inauguration of the Integrated Customs Clearance Centre near our International Airport.

The new brand building along with MRA Customs services will house other clearance agencies and thus serve as a one-stop shop for the clearance of goods. The building which is equipped with modern facilities and equipment will meet the tax administration objectives in facilitating trade and reducing cargo dwell time for our business community and combating the entry of illicit products such as drugs and narcotics.

The MRA Commemorative Magazine is available at https://www.mra.mu/download/MRAMagazine15Yrs.pdf. The magazine, entitled as ‘Position to meet challenges ahead’, portrays the different aspects of the MRA’s activities and transformation successes over its last 15-year journey. It showcases the digital transformation initiatives taken by the MRA during those years thus allowing our readers to see the innovative projects and initiatives that have contributed largely in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Authority. It needs to be mentioned that the Commemorative Magazine was conceptualized and designed in-house.
