Zambia attended the 15th meeting of the Africa Initiative of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes held in Lome, Togo. The Zambian delegation was led by the Commissioner General of the Zambia Revenue Authority, Mr. Dingani Banda. The delegation composed of officials from the Ministry of Finance and National Planning and the Zambia Revenue Authority. This is the first time Zambia is attending the Africa Initiative meetings as a full-member of the Global Forum having joined the Forum on 17th January 2024 as the 171st member in the world and 39th member from the African continent.
